On 30th September 2016, the teams at Four Oaks Legal Services and Four Oaks Financial Services took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
A number of staff either baked or “faked” cakes to provide treats to the visitors to the coffee morning. A steady flow of visitors throughout the morning meant a grand total of £200 was raised for Macmillan.
As part of the coffee morning, a competition was held to find the best baker or “faker”. It was a close competition with 3 entries tied in first place. The winning entries all came from Four Oaks Financial Services and the winners were Financial Advisor David Jones with his cupcakes, Finance Administrator Annemarie Fraser with her imaginative ginger cake and finally Paraplanner Kate Jones produced a chocolate lovers dream with a chocolate finger and malteaser chocolate cake. The visitors to the coffee morning also wrongly guessed that Annemarie and Kate’s entries were faked! Definitely a fine compliment to the quality of your cakes ladies!
Four Oaks Legal Services would like to thank everyone who provided cakes to support the Coffee Morning and to those who visited and donated to test the cakes. It was a hard job but someone had to do it!
